Analyst Expense Oversight

Analyzes, verifies, tracks and reports on the expense monitoring processes (automation, workflow, department setups, reimbursement routing, employee requests, credit card and statistical data).
Reports results on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
Tracks and reports on statistical variances. Reports discrepancies to Manager.
Assist in designing, developing and modifying systems and procedures to enhance departmental processing, as needed.
Monitors the input and accuracy of databases (people feed, department feed, expense accounts, expense types).
Participates in audits to ensure compliance to departmental policies and procedures and state and federal regulations, as needed.
Maintains compliance with Health System policies, state, federal and industry standards and regulations.
Participates in the customer service process via phone and email.
Participates in training activities for system / process users.
Performs related duties, as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, required. Masters Degree, preferred.
Minimum three (3) years financial or accounting experience, required.
Analytical skills, required.
Proficiency in Excel, required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
