Assigned work tasks
Must have an understanding of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Active Director and Group Policy Object Management
Provide back-end user support for various Information Technology related problems, including problems associated with Windows servers
Perform Windows system administration tasks
Install and configure server operating systems
Ability and experience in applying and maintaining patch levels and security configurations
Experience in hardening of systems through implementation of Cyber Security principles, policies and requirements
Experience is preferred with administration, implementation and maintenance of Virtualization technologies
Experience is preferred with HR ProLiant class hardware
Experience is preferred with Nutanix Appliance class hardware
Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in writing standard operating procedures
Utilize Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007/2016
Resolve escalated help desk issues
Experience is preferred with Backup Exec software to maintain a reliable backup of the network
Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
Experience in supporting Microsoft windows server computing environment, specifically Microsoft active director and group policy object management
Knowledge and working experience with windows server 2008/2012/2016 and future versions of the windows server operating system
Experience with server and desktop virtualization including VMWare
Experience with Microsoft system center configuration manager 2007/2016 or newer
Experience with two-factor authentication using smartcard technology
Experience in hardening of systems through implementation of cyber security principles, policies and requirements
Experience with scripting technologies such as VB script or PowerShell
Skills 1-6 are required with 1 or more years experience for skills 1-5
