Senior Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of Aetna's Digital Workspace Solutions Fax Engineering team, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to engineer and maintain an enterprise wide RightFax platform. In addition, you will create, build, maintain, standardize and troubleshoot RightFax for applications and user environment.
Fundamental Components:
Installs, configures, and maintains support for Inbound/outbound applications relying on faxing. Installs, configures, tunes, and maintains fax environment. Schedules installations and upgrades. Installs new software releases and application system upgrades. Evaluates and installs patches. Monitors and fine-tunes fax application system to achieve optimum performance levels. Partners with internal infrastructure teams and vendor to provide recommendations for hardware and system software upgrades. Develops and maintains a comprehensive system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation. Works with application developers, vendor, and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot application system problems. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity and continuous monitoring.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Experience with RightFax or Fax2Mail enterprise applications. Experience automating complex administrative tasks. Ability to lead small technical teams with clearly scoped goals. Experience with Script and/or scripting language experience. Experience working in large fax enterprise organizations.
5-7 years fax experience.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
