Relief Cook
Providence is calling a Relief Cook to multiple Providence facilities in Hood River, OR.
Pay starts at $15.55 depending on experience (this rate includes additional premium pay for on-call status). This is an on-call position that will be filling in as a Cook at all 3 Hood River locations (Hood River Memorial Hospital, Down Manor, and Brookside Manor) and will be working approximately 24 hours per week in variable shifts ranging from 6am to 7:30pm.
In this position, you will:
Assist in providing nutritional meals with attractive presentation to residents, guests, and employees.
Assist the Food Operations Manager in all endeavors.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Food Handler's Certification (may be obtained within 90 days in the position)
1-2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen
In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) background check is required for this position.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience as a cook
