Mechanical Engineer
The Mechanical Engineer implements mechanical projects (with coaching from the Lead Engineer) for an integrated system or subsystem. The Mechanical Engineer provides input to and contributes to the planning, reporting, and mechanical implementation.
Participates in initial system design review
Contributes to system architecture, description of operation, functional specifications, and interface documents
Adheres to and validates project specifications while maintaining as-sold scope
Monitors and works from project task list and timelines; report progress on a regular basis
Assists Lead Engineer in the execution of drawings (layout, detail, load, hanger, air, approval, installation), required calculations, sales orders, and other required project work
Maintains and tracks issues list and report progress to Lead Engineer
Participates in drawing review meetings
Participates in mechanical checkout and support installation as needed
Participates in executing test plans on-site, both internal and customer acceptance/BUAT/UAT/FAT
Attends Mechanical Design review
Assists with storing LSS turnover documentation in proper location
Understands project phasing (Tie-Ins and Cut-Ins)
Performs other project related duties as assigned
Graduate from an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum one year of Mechanical Engineering experience is preferred.
