This is an entry level position. Pharmacy technician I are an essential member of staff at Miller Drug. Technicians provide support for multiple facets of the operations of the Pharmacy, including exceptional customer service, answer phone in a timely manner, patient interaction, data entry, prescription preparation and sales of prescriptions, other merchandise, stock, order and maintain front store product.
Pharmacy Technician position in a busy retail pharmacy. Duties include but are not limited to:
processing and filling prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assist in receiving physician's orders, inventory ordering and control and completing sale transactions. Extensive phone use required.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Must complete registration with Maine Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician within one month of accepting position, if not currently registered with Board of Pharmacy. Must renew certification annually. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred. This position includes varied day and evening hours. Weekend rotation required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
