Coldform Operator - 3rd shift
Eaton Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Coldform Machine Operator at our Roxboro, NC facility on 3rd shift.
The starting wage for this position is $17.66 per hour
3rd shift hours: 10:30 p.m. - 6:50 a.m.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for transfers materials and products between storage areas and machinery and equipment. He/she feeds materials into machines and equipment to process and manufacture products. This position loads materials and products into machines and equipment, using fork lift trucks. He or she sorts and selects materials and products and rejects defective pieces, following specified instructions and standards. They fasten packages, or stack materials and products, using hand tools and fastening equipment. They also identify and mark materials, products, and samples, following instructions.
This person will move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment and will need to remove materials and products from machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices. They will need to inspect materials and products for defects and to ensure conformance to specifications, while cleaning and maintaining machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions. This position also need to record production and operational information and data on specified forms, shovel or scoop materials into containers, machines, or equipment for processing, storage or transport, add chemicals, lubricants, solutions, or ingredients to machines or equipment to ensure manufacturing process meets specifications.
Inspection of parts using gauges to ensure conformance to specifications and determining any machine problems while modifying materials and products during the manufacturing process to meet requirements are all essential function of this role. While also being able to troubleshoot a machine to determine problems, making minor repairs to machines as needed and keeping work area clean
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical trade or currently enrolled in a Precision Machining
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Technology program from an accredited institution
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Relocation is not provided. All candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
