National Account Manager
Industry: Service Provider Selling 3rd Party Quality Solutions including Inspection/Quality Engineering and Training to Automotive Manufacturers/General Manufacturers
We are looking for an individual who can maintain and build a base of customers in the following markets: automotive manufacturing, consumer goods manufacturing, electronics and others. If you have a keen understanding of the needs of manufacturers, particularly automotive, combined with knowledge of quality initiatives and experience selling to Tier 1 Corporate Accounts and Automotive OEMs, then we want to hear from you. This position reports directly to the VP, Sales and Marketing
Primary
Responsibilities:
This position will develop new business opportunities with Tier 1 Corporate Accounts and Automotive OEMs. Your success will be dependent on your ability to prospect, qualify, service and build relationships with key decision makers in quality including Quality Directors, Supplier Quality and Procurement/Commodity Managers.
In this role you will:
Identify and qualify new opportunities for their potential
Prospect new clients through cold calling, networking, SMM, attending trade shows, etc.
Maintain and grow existing business by working with our Operations Directors
Develop sales by making presentations; explaining service benefits and value proposition
Prepare proposals and presentations, as well as responding to RFIs and RFQs
Required Skills:
Experience selling to large-medium size accounts
Ability to close new business
Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Results driven, passion to succeed, resourceful
Self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Qualifications:
Proven B2B Sales experience selling services
Diploma or Degree preferred in Business
7 - 10
years experience selling to Tier 1 Corporate level automotive parts manufacturers and/or general manufacturers and/or OEM accounts
Knowledge of quality systems and processes is a definite asset
