Sr. Technical Recruiter (Contract)
The Role and Responsibilities
Roku is looking for a technical recruiter who will play a key role in the growth of the company. We are looking for this person who would enjoy being a part of a high growth company and take the responsibility of recruiting for our Software Engineering groups. This position is a contract role with the potential to go FTE.
Gain the trust of the hiring managers and other staffing and HR team members; provide leadership in the area of technical talent acquisition
Thoroughly evaluate candidates, prepare professional write-ups and present candidates in an accurate and detailed manner
Analyze research and understand requirements to identify qualified talent. Help hiring managers craft compelling job descriptions.
Expert on resume search portals, using search engines, passive techniques, cold calling and utilizing social media tools to identify candidates
MUST BE WILLING TO CALL CANDIDATES AND NOT JUST EMAIL THEM
Communicate at all levels to inform the staffing and HR teams, and management about a candidate search status
Use sound business judgment and common sense when approaching obstacles and solving problems during candidate searches
Balance the demands of the customer with the defined constraints of the candidate search
Identify areas for improvement with the organization and staffing, partner with those necessary to make the change
Strive for enthusiastically satisfied clients on every engagement
Experience/Qualifications
Previous experience working both for an agency and in-house as a recruiter sourcing software candidates.
Extensive experience in sourcing and identifying candidates through social media and other non-traditional methods (e.g. Boolean, Facebook, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.); if your first source for candidates is Monster.com, Dice.com or Careerbuilder.com or otherwise, this is NOT the place for you
7-10
years technical recruiting experience with extensive experience recruiting software engineers / programmers, network engineers, project managers.
Ability and willingness to recruit for other positions as requested
