Trading Assistant

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide administrative and operational trading desk support for the Disciplined Alpha team at Loomis Sayles.Responsibilities include:
Trade processing; including data entry, new security setup, account allocation, compliance monitoring, and resolving operational/settlement issues with both internal and external counterparts Mastery and frequent use of various risk, accounting, and trade order management systems Creating materials for portfolio review meetings and weekly reporting deliverables Answering trading desk lines and assisting with critical information flow Suggesting process/system enhancements to streamline workflow and improve the operational efficiency of the desk
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree is required Strong Excel skills and the ability to learn new systems is required Highly numerate Keen attention to detail Financial markets experience, specifically Fixed Income, is a significant plusPersonal Qualities:
A trading desk is a high intensity, fast-paced work environment with rapidly shifting priorities and a highly nuanced language. This position also represents the team to external groups. Personal qualities that would help a candidate be successful in this job include:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
