Overview
The SLC Driver drives any of the fleet of Riverside Senior Living Center for purpose of transporting residents of Riverside Senior Living Center to community activities, events, meetings, appointments or daily events such as shopping and banking.
Responsibilities
PART III: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)Maintain interior and exterior appearance and cleanliness of bus, report and mechanical or safety issues to the Maintenance department.Operate vehicle within all regulations and follow all facility and Manufacturers instructions for vehicle maintenance.Other duties as assigned.Safely, transport residents to scheduled group and independent activities and medical appointments, assist passengers on and off bus and keep appointment logs.
Qualifications
Experience/Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proof of good driving record
License or Certification Requirements:
Valid Illinois driver's license
Evidence of driving record up to 7 yrs may be required to meet insurability in Riverside's insurance program.
Insurability in Riverside's insurance program is a requirement of the position.
CPR certification preferred.
