This position will require a willingness and availability to support a 7 day, 24 hour shift effort, as required, as well as the possibility of being on-call for emergencies.
Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change
Location: China Lake, CA Date May/June 2017 (Computer Specialist Junior)
This position is contingent on a contract award to Lockheed Martin and is subject to change.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate should have minimum of 1 years' experience or an Associate's degree in computer science or other technical field degree.
Candidate should be able to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
Candidate must be able to obtain & maintain a secret security clearance.
Obtaining a security clearance requires US citizenship.
Desired skills
Ability analyze shipboard alteration drawings, schematics, tech manuals, and electrical drawings
Ability to create and modify testing and system/sub-system procedures
Ability to troubleshoot & repair electronics, computers, systems equipment, networks.
Safety-first minded, maintenance oriented with experience using multitude of tools
Good communication skills
Ability to take direction and perform to exacting standards
