The selected individual will support ICBM programs. Responsibilities include: Design and document element and hardware items including System/Subsystem design description, performance specifications, preliminary design support, Anti-Tamper plan inputs, develop and maintain hardware engineering drawings. Select, procure, install, checkout, and acceptance test COTS items. Support Nuclear Surety Vulnerability studies, Nuclear Hardness and Survivability Design Analysis, Airworthiness Electrical loads analysis. Support development of test plans and procedures, conduct of informal FQT and updates to test and engineering documentation. Support prototype development, demonstrations, test and DR workoff.
This position is contingent upon program award.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in mechanical drawing and computer-aided design.
Experience preparing and revising engineering drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and block diagrams.
Desired skills
Experience developing/analyzing avionics subsystems.
Experience developing test plans and procedures.
Bachelor Degree in a Technical Engineering Discipline
