- High School Diploma or GED
Education:
Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
Preferred: Post secondary education in a related field.
Certifications: Must obtain Basic Life Support certification within one year of hire.
Experience:
Minimum: One year acute care experience in hospital setting.
Preferred: Phlebotomy, EKG, Emergency Department experience.
Other:
Minimum: Ability to organize, plan and accomplish assignments under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner. Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets.
