Receiving Lead

The Receiving Lead is responsible for the receiving operations of the Appliance Outlet and Repair Centers and the processing of merchandise ensuring effective inventory controls and movement of merchandise within the store. The Receiving Lead is also accountable for accuracy of receiving documents and supervision over merchandise identification and handling. The Receiving Lead is also accountable for inventory shrinkage. The Receiving Lead is also a role model within the unit for abiding by and holding others accountable for The Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices. Leads by example with the highest level of integrity. The Receiving Lead must have day, evening and weekend availability to work.
Job Duties:
Leads the Receiving operations to ensure achievement of business goals in expenses, payroll, inventory shrinkage, and Associate morale
Assists the Receiving team in moving product throughout the building as needed and supports in the receiving and unloading of merchandise off of trucks and from the Delivery Center
Adheres to operational processes, utilizing available systems to receive and manage inventories
Leads Receiving processes in training; assist in action plans to improve performance
Develops partnership with Sears Logistics Services' (SLS) Distribution Centers and Product Repair Service units
Takes ownership for full implementation of corporate programs and initiatives on expense management, productivity, and Associate morale, including adherence to operational processes and ensuring performance standards are met
Ensures that the unit adheres to safety policies and procedures
Leads receiving of merchandise throughout the unit
Maintains facilities and housekeeping
Maintains warehouse/receiving space and offsite storage (if necessary)
Understands and communicates to Management activities/trends in unit and unique local issues
Understands the Non-Sellable Merchandise Criteria and either directly inspects or reviews all incoming merchandise for non-sellable criteria, reporting findings to the Operations Manager immediately
Performs other duties as assigned

Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs., and use hand wheeled carts to move Appliances

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
