OverviewAHS is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in the Pharmacy Dept. at Overlook Medical Center, which is a member of the prestigious Atlantic Health System.Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical/Lead Oncology Pharmacy Specialist for our medical center. The incumbent is responsible to oversee operation of outpatient and inpatient oncology/rheumatology services at Overlook Medical Center as well as off-site infusion centers in Springfield and West Orange NJ.
The Lead in this area will work closely with pharmacy, nursing, and physician groups to facilitate appropriate prescribing, dispensing, and administration. The incumbent will also work closely with other multidisciplinary groups across Atlantic Health to assist with standardization of guidelines, protocols, order sets, and medication safety initiatives.
Specific responsibilities will include administrative leadership, clinical, assistance with scheduling, staff orientation, education, regulatory compliance, committee participation, and teamwork.
Qualifications
PharmD pref.
NJ board of pharmacy license, or eligible to take exam for NJ pharmacist licensure BCOP preferred 3-5 years of oncology experience or PGY-2 in oncology
Supervisor experience preferred
