Responsibilities
Meets established departmental productivity standards, conserves resources, and recognizes the value of cost containment while maintaining quality standards. Communicates with all internal and external customers in an effective, friendly, helpful and appropriate manner and demonstrates actions which are reflective of a desire to create and maintain positive customer relations. Assumes responsibility and accountability for level of work and adherence to competency standards, pursues opportunities for educational advancement, and meets departmental continuing education requirements. Meets deadlines and takes responsibility for accomplishing one's work. Assists in carrying out the treatment program involving therapeutic modalities, exercise programs, and specialized rehabilitation procedures under the direction and assistance of the registered therapistExplains treatment procedures to patient, supervises their treatment program and initiates safety precautions.Evaluates and monitors patient status and response to treatment program.Reports patient status and progress to the supervising registered therapist. Identifies problems and helps solve them by actively participating in development of solutions. Observes universal precautions consistently.Wears proper personal protective equipment when appropriateWears clothing and Health System badge consistent with dress code, and attends to personal hygiene to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance.Meets Health System attendance standardsPerforms additional duties as assignedEstablishes and maintains required patient records and departmental forms. Participates in monthly staff meetings.Demonstrates an open attitude toward change and participates in the change process.Makes suggestions and uses new or improved ways to get the job done more effectively.Plans/organizes and evaluates work activities appropriately. Works efficiently and quickly producing high quality work.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
