Chief Medical Officer

The Medical Director is the senior-level physician and one of the accountable care organization (ACO) providers/suppliers who is physically present on a regular basis at any clinic, office, or other location participating in the ACO, and who is a board-certified physician and licensed in the State in which the ACO operates. The Medical Director is responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight of care management, population health, quality, patient safety, and utilization initiatives of the ACO. Establishes and implements standards and policies to align medical staff goals with those of the ACO. Ensures medical staff complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. Identifies and promotes best practices to improve quality and outcomes and control costs across the ACO.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
2. Current Board Certification in a generalist or specialty area.
3. Active license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania without restriction, or the ability to obtain.
4. Five or more years of clinical leadership and medical management experience including managed care, alternative delivery systems, and implementation of clinical transformation, care management, and population health management initiatives.
5. Knowledge and understanding of the healthcare environment and full continuum of healthcare options, programs and services. Knowledge of related governmental and accreditation agency requirements.
6. Working knowledge of physician and/or provider based contracting and care management models.
7. Strong understanding and proficiency in the use of metrics and measures in managing programs and services.
8. Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to initiate and cultivate productive collaborative relationships with physician leaders at partner organizations. The incumbent is also required to communicate effectively with physician providers to positively affect behavior and function as the primary physician liaison on care management related matters.
9. Experience working with clinical information systems supporting population health management preferred.
10. Ability to maintain a high level of satisfaction with referring physicians/institutions and members.
11. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
12. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and to motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
