Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating and/or performing the calibration,
qualification, and maintenance efforts of equipment and the documentation of those activities;
participating in equipment compliance-related activities and committee meetings; assisting in guiding the
Equipment Compliance efforts at MPI Research; ensuring consistency of SOPs and forms across
departments for common equipment and systems; maintaining contact with service and equipment
vendors; and training other Equipment Compliance staff and laboratory personnel on equipment-related
procedures and compliance issues.

Adheres to safety procedures at all times.
Performs or coordinates the calibration, qualification, and maintenance activities for equipment in
accordance with company SOPs, GLPs, and assigned schedules.
Participates in equipment-related committee meetings and follows up on action items resulting from
meetings.
Maintains/Scans documents and maintains equipment-related lists.
Performs the collection of water samples in support of the water analysis program.
Completes routine and nonroutine maintenance documentation in accordance with company SOPs
and GLPs.
Reviews maintenance and/or calibration records for compliance issues.
Acts as contact person for Project Leaders and other staff for equipment-related issues.
Coordinates SOPs and forms for new and existing equipment.
Interacts with Vendors and acts as contact person for vendors, as needed.
Plans and conducts training within and outside the department on equipment-related procedures and
compliance issues.
Authors and/or executes test scripts for equipment qualifications.
Coordinates the repair and maintenance contracts for equipment in accordance with assigned
schedules.
Coaches and mentors other Metrology Assistants/Associates and teaches calibration and maintenance
methods for assigned equipment.
Effectively communicates equipment-related issues with internal/external personnel
Progresses toward taking the initiative to independently solve equipment-related matters when they
are identified.
Evaluates new equipment from an engineering perspective.
Performs site preparation in advance of new equipment arrival in conjunction with the Facilities
personnel.
Qualifications:
BS in relevant field and 7-9 years of relevant experience with applicable certification; or
BS in relevant field and 8-10 years of relevant experience without certification; or
HS/GED with 9-11 years of relevant experience with applicable certification; or
HS/GED and 11-13 years of relevant experience without certification.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions and including ability to learn a validated
system.
Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings,
weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
Ability to work under specific time constraints.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
