Caseworker

Overview
To assist cabin counselors in ensuring a successful camp experience for each child. Providing counselors with tools to manage problem behaviors and by working directly with campers who have more serious problems that cannot be handled by the cabin counselors (serious behavior issues, child abuse, severe homesickness, etc.).
Responsibilities
Involvement in the total camp program as a key leadership person functioning with a willingness to assist in all areas, as needed, including dining room, campfire programs, children with problems, etc.
Responsible for sharing with, Camp Director's all matters of mutual concern relating to the total welfare of the camp.
Assist the Camp Director with supervision of personnel living in the Hilltop dining hall complexes, rendering immediate crisis supervision with follow-up reporting to the appropriate supervisor.
Serve as resource for program skills and share a specific skill as needed. Guidance supervision to all general program areas with a functional, consultative relationship to Camp Director.
Involvement in the total camp program with willingness to help in all areas as needed, including dining room, campfire programs, children with problems, evening programs, etc.
Promote observance of the spiritual emphasis of the program and the moral and ethical code affecting campers and staff.
Conduct, attend and generally contribute appropriately in staff meetings.
Assist in the organization of camp living; including housekeeping, activities and programs.
Guide activities through camper-counselor planning within the total camp program.
Cooperate in the coordination of all cabin plans and all camp activities.
Qualifications
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to share your faith with others
Minimum 21 years of age
Degree of training in education, counseling, children's ministry, or other related field
At least two summers of camping experience working directly with children. Experience working with urban children preferred
Completed at least junior year in college (college graduate preferred)
A committed Christian able to utilize Christian principles in counseling
Desire to work with children and teens outdoors
Ability to relate to one's peer group
Ability to accept guidance and supervision
Good character, integrity, and adaptability
Strong clerical and organizational skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
