Your day-to-day:
Perform maintenance tasks to ensure the Branch meets our standard of excellence
Interact appropriately with residents and families
Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready
Assist in arranging service contracts and bids
Manage the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule
Ensure equipment remains in working order
Complete tasks necessary to ensure a safe and secure environment
Incorporate opportunities to create small, but memorable, experiences for residents
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
CPR and First Aid certification. If uncertified, may obtain certification upon hire
High School diploma/GED or three months of related experience
HE FELT VALUED AGAIN. Dad was an electrician for his working life. Fixing things was the way he showed love to us. When Dad got dementia, we had to take his tools away for safety reasons. He was never the same after that. One day the Maintenance Coordinator asked Dad to help change light bulbs and filters around the Branch. I called to speak with Dad and he said he was busy fixing things and we'd have to talk later. For that moment, my dad was back.
