Customer Sales and Service Representative

SUMMARY
The Customer Sales and Service Representatives are responsible for driving sales through various sales techniques. This position will be required to utilize proven sales and service techniques to build long-term customer relationships, enhance the customer's buying experience and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. The Customer Sales and Service Representative researches, troubleshoots and resolves customer escalations to the satisfaction of the customer and according to established policy and procedure; answers inbound calls; processes various documents and service tickets (cases and tasks). Flexibility during all operational hours, including nights and weekends is required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction in all sales and service transactions.
Identify/close sales opportunities to improve order conversion or revenue goals.
Identify/close add-on sales opportunities to improve average order value/revenue.
Consistently exceeds weekly/monthly sales goals (conversion rate, revenue, etc.)
Helps to identify, research, and resolve customer complaints. Troubleshoots and utilizes critical thinking and problem solving skills to identify the root of customer dissatisfaction and reports service gaps to prevent redundancy.
Applies appeasements commensurate with service deficits, consistent with partner guidelines, policies and procedures.
Acts as the voice of the customer by recording/surfacing comments, complaints, ideas and suggestions which will improve the customer buying experience.
Educates customers on product and service features and benefits, promotions, pricing, timelines, policies and procedures.
Supports the sales team by offering guidance, advice and assistance regarding products, services, policies and procedures, and by serving escalated and dissatisfied customers.
Meets productivity goals and call quality assurance standards on a monthly basis through adherence to the QA scorecard, Call Guide and partner mandatory scripting. Engage with customers at a high level to ensure brand commitment is met.
Handles other essential customer service related administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year of sales and customer service experience is preferred. Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience in a Contact Center sales environment is preferred.
Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Controller and/or Sigma Commerce Order processing systems; Time Keeping Payroll systems; Outlook, Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Must be able to type 20 WPM

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
