Software Engineer

Your Day to Day Responsibilities Include:
You will be developing software for collaborative real-time networking applications which provide enhanced geo locations and other intelligence information for the war fighter. This will involve applying your analysis, design and programming skills in creative and innovative ways. Our products provide a wide area of opportunities to apply your skills and realize new ones (databases, messaging middleware, SOA, Websites, various Operating systems, virtual environments, simulation, DevOps). You will work with the customer and stakeholders to make sure the needed capabilities are being developed. You will have the opportunity to research and apply new technologies to meet new customer and company objectives. The team you will work on will be fast moving, always interested in the best technical solution, and always open to new ideas that make the product better for our customer.
Key Qualifications
You are a US Citizen with the ability to obtain US security clearance
You hold a Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Natural Science (Physics, Mathematics etc)
Five (5) years of related work experience
You love solving new problems in creative ways
You possess strong programming skills in C#, C and/or Java
You possess web development skills in Javascript, jQuery, CSS, XML, .NET
You are comfortable with multi-threaded programming or willing to learn it
You have exposure to network level programming and want to learn more about them
You have exposure to SQL and NoSQL Databases or want to learn more about them
You have exposure to distributed systems or want to learn more about them
You are comfortable with Mercurial, Subversion, Git and other Configuration Management Tools
You possess the ability to work independently or in small team environment
You work best solving problems collaboratively
