Summary:

Responsibilities:
Manage the supply of finishedgoods sourced from multiple manufacturing plants and subcontractors to twowarehouse locations in the US (Ohio, CA)
Focus on service, cost, andinventory in alignment with corporate objectives to drive sales and profits
Take ownership of the productportfolio including excess and obsolete inventory, cycle stock, safety stock, outof stock, and portfolio performance
Expertly balance out supply withdemand to ensure efficiency in inventory investment
Mitigate and find solutions tosupply issues that arise for various reasons including overselling and production concerns or delays
Support the launch and re-launchof new products to meet ship dates while avoiding out of stocks
Support and coordinate the supplyof finished goods used for promotional programs
Establish strong relationshipswith peers and work cross-functionally with demand planning, new products team,master data team, and marketing counterparts
Demonstrate willingness, desire,and tenacity to become an expert in SAP APO, Business Intelligence, and othercorporate tools to improve overall performance
Accurately maintain all masterdata related to optimal supply planning performance
Identify and drive supply chainand systemic improvements to reduce supply chain costs, to drive efficiencies,and to drive continuous improvement
Take the initiative to identify,lead, and establish continuous improvement practices that improve supply chainand company performance
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and understanding ofinventory management principles
Previous supply planning andsupply chain experience
Knowledge of multiple aspects ofOperations Planning and Supply Chain including, but not limited to, financialanalysis, master data, quality requirements, manufacturing, material lead timesand capabilities
Bachelor's degree with 4
yearsworking in operations environment, direct operations planning or equivalentexperience, ideally in Consumer Package Goods industry
Strong Excel, MS Word, andproject skills plus experience utilizing ERP software such as SAP APO andBusiness Intelligence
Experience in collaboration andinfluencing teams and manufacturing plants
Must be organized with excellentand effective follow-up skills
Ability to simplify complexsupply challenges into clear and concise updates for business partners
Ability to work on multiplepriorities, meet deadlines, and set priorities while maintaining flexibility ina fast-paced environment
