POSITION
Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Analytics, the Senior Healthcare Analyst leads efforts to meet the information, reporting, and analytic needs required to drive the performance priorities for Steward Health Care Network (SHCN).
KEY
Responsibilities:
As an experienced member of the Analytics Team, the Senior Healthcare Analyst performs the following functions:
Develop and program comprehensive, timely, and accurate analyses and reports on volume and revenue for Steward Healthcare using primarily Meditech data and other billing/EMR systems;
Work with IT and subject matter experts throughout Steward Healthcare to understand the structure and content of the various data systems available;
Collaborate with business units and operational leaders to understand performance-related priorities and related analytic needs, identify appropriate enterprise data sources, and build-out reporting and analytics to meet the business objectives;
Act as subject matter expert for the Analytics team as it relates to enterprise level data;
Support ad hoc analytic requests, providing accurate and timely data, analysis and insightful interpretations;
Identify opportunities to improve and enhance analyses and information provided to customers
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Possess strong analytic and technical skills plus an ability to translate complicated data into useable information
Possess strong skills in SQL, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Meditech expertise preferred
Familiarity with Avega and Athena Collector desired
Exposure to hospital and physician reimbursement principles preferred
Organizational and project management skills to manage collaborative projects across departments
Possess an in-depth understanding of healthcare data, including ICD-9/10 & CPT codes and DRGs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to relate positively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Creative, flexible, and self-motivated with sound judgment; ability to plan and implement
Commitment to service excellence
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE/TECHNICAL/OTHER:
I. Education: Bachelor's degree required in relevant discipline, Master's preferred;
II.
Experience: At least five years experience in analytics, with some experience in healthcare.
III. Certification/Licensure: N/A;
IV. Software/Hardware: SQL, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
