The ICBM system has been fielded since 1962 and has been upgraded in various stages over the life of the program as required to maintain system capability. With the results of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Analysis of Alternatives, the ICBM system needs to be modernized to maintain mission effectiveness. TASC, an Engility Company, provides systems engineering technical advisory services as part of a multi-command, multi-contractor team with responsibility for defining and integrating upgrade increments. TASC provides flight test data analysis, system performance analysis, 6 degree of freedom (6DOF) simulation capability, and numerous other system performance prediction and analysis. We are seeking cost analysts to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
As a cost analyst support will be provided directly to our customers for both long term and short-term projects and studies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Complete parametric cost analysis, data collection and normalization, system architecture trade studies, and special studies to obtain a quantitative rational, for Agency decision making as well as develop/improve cost estimating relationships (CERs), methods, and techniques.
Provide assistance in developing system technical assessments in support of the technical trade studies and program baseline development. Conduct risk analysis, statistical analysis of program cost data, as well as economic analysis of key indicates.
Utilize advanced Excel and programming techniques, to potentially include macros and array formulas, to develop robust cost models and tools.
Develop and maintain databases and analyses, to capture important cost and budget characteristics of activities to support program justification.
Apply current and relevant knowledge of agency-wide planning and programming to support the creation of a defensible estimate.
Support collaborative information sharing among industry and Government agency partners, participate in outreach with opportunities to publish reports and studies.
Provide guidance to leadership of programmatic and acquisition issues.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
