PD Diagnostic Med. Sonographer
OverviewAtlantic Health System is seekinga Per-Diem Diagnostic Med. Sonographer to work at Newton Medical Center.Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Qualified candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing state of the art GE equipment.
Candidate is required to perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic and vascular exams.
Applicant must be comfortable performing exams in an outpatient as well as inpatient and emergency department setting.
The ideal candidate should have 5
years' experience performing Ultrasound in the hospital setting.
Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player required
Qualifications
Education:
Qualified candidate must be a graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.
ARDMS registry required. RDMS
RVT registry a plus.
Qualifications/Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 2
years' experience performing Ultrasound.
Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player required.
