Director, Engineering - Aerospace Division
Position
Summary:
To be the Leader of the professional delivery of the engineering responsibilities of the respective regional engineering organization focusing on product integrity, change culture using the DBS (Danaher Business System) tool set, delivery to requested date, quality performance and talent development.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Daily Leadership of engineering professionalism,
Talent Development; own and deploy the development plan for all associates within the group,
Deliver product integrity and maintain through life performance to the required definition,
Drive change via continuous improvement,
Establish and drive KPI's to manage key performance ensuring standardized global approach,
Deliver and develop the resource plan to meet demanded competence,
Skills, Knowledge and
Experience:
Collaborative style with capability to accurately conclude and give direction.
Be firm and focused in driving progress.
Engender a common goal via clear direction, strong presence and personal credibility.
Be a confident presence in front of associates, peers, regulators and customers.
Have a restless outlook to seeking increased levels of performance.
Effective and professional communicator.
Manage with fairness whilst recognizing reality, engender the team environment.
Have a passion for wining in terms of delivering complex technology projects.
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
10 years' product development / product release / product industrialization experience within a regulated industry.
5 years of managing change within a technically regulated environment.
5 years mentoring and coaching experience of developing professional personnel.
Additional Requirements:
20% travel globally to support business needs.
