Assist in the implementation of a diabetes program and provide education to patients diagnosed with diabetes or a history of diabetes, both in the office and prior to discharge from the hospital. High School diploma plus graduation for an accredited nursing program. CDE educational requirements for CDE. New York State RN license. Good Oral and written communication skills for instructions; ability to develop a collaborative, therapeutic alliance with individual; able to lead and effectively manage groups.
