Overview
As a leading provider of energy solutions, CLEAResult has an immediate need for an Engineering Manager to join our world-class Energy Efficiency Utility Programs organization. The highly proactive, energetic, and analytical Engineering Manager will thrive in guiding a team of industrial energy engineers to provide detailed energy savings analyses of complex systems for medium to large industrial customers. This role demands a motivated individual who is passionate about energy efficiency and customer relationships and looking to be part of a results-driven, talented, and highly effective team bringing state-of-the-art tools and analyses to facility and operations managers.
This position can be based in either the San Bruno or Oakland, CA office.

Responsibilities
Act as direct manager for a team of energy engineers and energy analysts, including:
Oversee the performance of the engineering team and ensure the team achieves both team and company performance objectives.
Provide strategic guidance and prioritization of work to ensure work is effectively supporting the goals of the assigned utility programs.
Provide opportunities for engineers to grow professionally.
Assure that engineering analysis is performed to the company's standard of quality and certainty to achieve a high level of client satisfaction.
Lead critical conversations with staff.
Implement resource planning in conjunction with program managers and regional director(s)
Provide technical knowledge to explain complex energy issues to internal and external parties including clients and customers
Represent the company in industry workshops and drive meaningful change in policy development where possible
Manage team projects and establish project scopes (deliverables, timeline, cost)
Provide performance reports to program directors and consult on potential improvements to improve team and program performance
Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals
Design work flows and procedures
Manage client relationships, both internally and externally
Qualifications
BS in Engineering and/or PE; Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical preferred

years in industrial energy efficiency
2
years people management (will oversee 7
engineers)
Requires strong technical expertise in measurement and verification of energy efficiency measures, specifically industrial
Extensive knowledge of industrial energy efficiency technologies, programs, and policies, especially within the California market
Understand applicable codes and equipment standards
