Director, In-School Programs – Indianapolis – Purdue Bound

The Director of In-School Programs is a full-time leader responsible for functional oversight of all designated programs and activities operated in middle and high school partner sites. The incumbent reports directly to the Assistant Dean of K12 Outreach for the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. The Director will collaborate with district teachers and administrators, parents and students to ensure high quality STEM programs are accessible by students. The Director of In-School Programs will set and achieve realistic goals. Will develop appropriate policies, processes and procedures to ensure long-term success.
Required:
Master's degree in education, technology or business or related field.
Minimum eight years' of experience in teaching middle/high school, technology, program/project management or related experience.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience will be considered.
STEM teaching experience.
Strong program/project management skills.
Strong oral and written communication, planning, public relations, proofreading, drafting, editing and disseminating correspondence, reports and public presentations.
Excellent customer service skills and professionalism in dealing with external business partners, students, faculty and staff.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build working relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.
Strong organizational and time management skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Motivated individual with ability to efficiently multi task, work under pressure, handle frequent interruptions and meet deadlines.
Ability to identify and determine problems, analyze information and implement solutions.
Capable of taking initiative, assuming responsibility and handling confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
Talented to manage complexity collaboratively building programs at Purdue University to be delivered in K12 schools across Indiana.
Adept to work within the culture and processes of a school system.
Valid Driver's License.
Preferred:
Project Management certification.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
