Part Time Janitor (Oakland, CA)

Providence is calling a Part Time Janitor to Providence Health & Services in Oakland, CA.
The Janitor will ensure the highest degree of cleanliness, appearance and safety of the facility common areas.
In this position you will:
Uphold the Mission and Core Values of Providence Health & Services and support the goals and principles of supportive housing.
Ensure cleanliness of all common areas per cleaning schedule and special direction form Assistant Housing Director.
Monitor all common areas and initiate directed cleaning efforts when warranted.
Clean and otherwise ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained in indoor and outdoor trash and recycling areas.
Engage special projects and other related duties as directed by Assistant Housing Director.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School graduate or General Equivalency Degree (GED) equivalent
Previous experience in janitorial work preferred.

Self-motivate, good communication skills, accepting of a diverse environment, ability to work well with limited supervision, pays great attention to detail and has familiarity with elderly or disabled populations.
