Position
Qualifications:
We require a nursing degree from an accredited school.
You'll also need a current RN license in our state.
Basic life support training should be completed in 90 days with advanced training required at certain intervals.
RNs will obtain ACLS within 6 months of graduation or new hire date, ACLS must be maintained. BLS certification required (See HR policy B-20) Other: Successful completion of the hospital approved medication test. Demonstrates competency by successful completion of orientation competency assessment and verification form and department specific orientation within the first three months of employment. Demonstrates professional conduct and development. Able to learn and react quickly. Competent to make certain independent decisions concerning the quality and accuracy of the procedures performed. The RN functions autonomously and is responsible for the direction of the health care team and overall plan of care for the patient. Must be able to engage in technical conversation involving discussion with physicians, nurses, patients, families/significant others and co-workers.
