Position Description
5 years' experience informing and briefing members of DoD on the historical, political, military, cultural, religious, and economic conditions and factors of Afghanistan
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any field or an Associate's degree in Middle Eastern studies
6 months experience working in Afghanistan as a Cultural Advisor within the past 3 years.
1 year experience working on the staff of or a supporting element of a SOJTF.
3 years' experience briefing and preparing written products for senior leaders (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level)
Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access
GS-13 Equivalent
This is a part time position located at the Military Support Element, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina
