Network Engineer, Sr- Infrastructure

Responsible for installation, maintenance, and planning of local-area networks (LAN); assists in the support of wide-area networks (WAN) links and related peripherals, and connections to any other WAN/LAN/WLAN networks. Must be well versed in advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems. A firm understanding of the relationships and inter-dependencies between network infrastructure, system, and storage in both physical and virtual environments is required. Licensure/Certification:

Experience:
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Network Engineer managing, and supporting LAN, WAN, and Network Security (Firewall) infrastructure. Cisco wired and wireless networks in an enterprise environment including supporting LAN, WAN infrastructure in a heterogeneous environment consisting of 2,000 or more endpoints. Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting infrastructure using Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, ACS, and WLC or equivalent technologies including firewalls, VPN access, wireless, and authentication, etc. Extensive knowledge of network architecture including switching, routing, trunking, VLANS, subnetting, 802.11 wireless, and IP utilities. Experience with the deployment, and management of route/switch technology including layer 3 topologies, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, and firewall access control including access rules, AAA, management access, filtering services, and management of digital certificates. Experience with MAN, WAN, LAN and Data Center architectures including DMZ, Firewall management, network security partitions and zones for isolation of and control of network segments and application access. Ability to collaboratively work with the operational network/voice team as well as customers and consistently complete assigned tasks within established timelines. Extensive experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical system issues, both network and security specific or with broader, total IT infrastructure collaboration. Extensive experience developing plans and executing new technology deployments and upgrades, both software and hardware. Extensive experience implementing, configuring, tuning and operating monitoring and management systems, either native technology manufacturer or 3rd party solutions. Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS and DHCP. Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware and Citrix.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
