Join CACI as a Telecommunications Analyst providing Video Services expertise to the DISA Global Video Services (GVS) in support of the DISN Video Services contract.
The mission of the DISA GVS Tier III Team is to provide leading-edge capabilities and Tier III level troubleshooting for Technical, Information Assurance, Multimedia, and Continuity of Operations (COOP) to warfighters, National-level leaders, and other mission partners.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
As an outstanding Telecommunications Analyst you will:
Provide support on all aspects of video teleconferencing (VTC) telecommunications, to include troubleshooting, diagnostics, reporting and follow up on incident failures.
Work closely with network administrators on communication and connectivity projects and maintenance.
Assist in promoting, improving, maintaining and supporting all telecommunications services and/or systems.
Assist in the designs of networks or portions of networks that include selection of hardware and software packages.
Assists in video network reconfiguration.
Help to ensure that all software programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed.
Prepare or ensure that appropriate telecommunications documentation exists, including operational instructions.
Assist in all service / system upgrades while being a team player involving telecommunications and networking projects.
Assist in the analysis in determining business process improvements utilizing the telecommunication systems.
May research available and emerging video communication technologies to recommend future implementations.
Uses knowledge of current systems to promote beneficial capabilities and leverage use of the system's features.
Provide on demand support for real time warfighter/partner VTC events, in person, over the phone or email.
Work with COMSEC/KEYMAT devices such as KG194s and KIV7s to provide classified video services.
Provide support for IP video teleconferencing networks.
Brief and interface with Global Video Services (GVS) representatives and high level DOD counterparts on GVS issues.
Prepare communications equipment for installation by testing, calibrating, or modifying equipment as required.
Plan, evaluate, and coordinate installation of local and/or remote conferencing units and other VTC equipment.
To be successful you should:
Understand video teleconferencing (VTC) technology and how to configure, operate, and troubleshoot Tandberg/Cisco/Polycom/Vidyo VTC equipment.
Have technical understanding of general computing and helpdesk support.
Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Have a positive attitude for customer support.
Be able to interact well with others in a group environment but still be able to work independently when duties require it.

Required
Qualifications:
Typically requires bachelor's degree and zero to two years of related experience.
Current Secret clearance required.
Have experience configuring video teleconference (VTC) equipment and troubleshooting VTC issues.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
