POSITION PROFILE
The Editor/Sales Engineer is a dual position with half the time spent as a researcher/writer and half the time spent as a sales engineer.
In the role of researcher/writer, the candidate will, under general direction, assist in the research of a wide variety of compliance-related subject areas, development of risk assessment questions for these subject areas, and review and revise existing content and assessments generated by others.
In the role of sales engineer, the candidate will work with the various modules of Wolters Kluwer's ComplyTrack product, lead sales demonstrations, make presentations to prospective clients regarding Wolters Kluwer products and services, work with account managers and sales staff, and, as needed, serve as a back-up trainer. The sales engineer serves as a subject matter expert on all modules of ComplyTrack, and as such, must stay up-to-date on developments in healthcare compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing an understanding of customer needs and the tools to best fit those needs
Supporting division, business unit, and company goals and objectives
Making presentations to prospective clients to explain the various modules and functionality of ComplyTrack
Maintaining a basic understanding of healthcare compliance and the issues healthcare organizations are confronted with
Ability to speak to potentially large groups of individuals to clearly convey the benefits and features of ComplyTrack
Ability to conduct legal research and draft risk assessment questions based upon that research
Qualifications: Education:
Juris Doctorate
At least 1-3 years of experience and/or education in the field of health law or health care compliance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prefer solid software/technology understanding
Excellent organization, planning and presentation skills
Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
Strong time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word) and internet browser
