Job Description:
At Regions, our Desktop Services Consultant I supports the Branch and Corporate workstation infrastructure. Utilizes extensive technical knowledge to partner with company objectives and translate functional requirements into design and system architecture solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Tests, develops, and implements branch and corporate applications and patches
Builds and maintains branch servers
Assists in designing technical solutions that translate functional requirements into design and system architecture solutions
Fulfills the role of desktop architecture design and development and includes all related new and existing technology as subject matter expert
Centrally manages a fleet of printers, workstations, and servers, as well as development, quality assurance, and pilot and production implementations of applications, Operating Systems, and patches for both the Corporate and Branch environments
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related field
Five years information technology experience
Two years experience in enterprise architecture
Must have architecture experience and/or familiarity with Microsoft Operating systems, Visual Basic and PowerShell languages, Batch, SCCM, Active Directory, MS SQL, and Imaging and VDI solutions
Demonstrated ability to collaborate on cross-team and cross product technical issues
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Must be a motivated self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision
Preferences
College and/or technical training

Certification, MCSE or greater
