Job Description
We are seeking Mentor staff (psych tech) for our residential substance abuse treatment facility in Alpine, Utah. We are looking for self-motivated, assertive, dependable individuals to care for residents during nights and weekends. Candidate must have their own reliable transportation and a good driving record and be good at holding boundaries and following strict protocols. Must be at least 21 years of age and be willing to work nights/weekends. The mentor will need to sleep at the facility for over night shifts and will be paid during sleeping hours as well.
Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred.
Responsibilities
A mentor supervises residents in substance abuse programs. Daily responsibilities include facilitating groups, assisting residents with recovery work, joining residents in recreational activities, monitoring resident activities, transporting residents to outside meetings, and documenting resident behaviors and progress.
Qualifications
High school diploma required. Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred, but not a requirement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
