Position Overview
We re looking for a collaborative, pro-active Sourcing leader to bolster ARL Inc. s product development efforts. As a Sourcing Supervisor, you ll be responsible for successfully sourcing and procuring materials and products that deliver superior value in price and quality. Working with the Executive Team, you will share in building strategy and processes for bringing to life the best products in the industry.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable in an all hands on deck environment, love solving problems, and thrive in a fast-changing culture where agility and cross-functional collaboration is paramount. Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Drive our product sourcing and supply strategy, across all categories and brands
Assess supplier capabilities and build strategy for allocating volumes across supplies to ensure best-in-class product execution
Evaluate new suppliers and geographies, and continually explore and refine our portfolio to optimize for the best partners
Build strategies to drive continuous reductions in lead times and supply chain flexibility
Manage the product development calendar
Create exceptional sewing products and notions for our customers, while ensuring our growing collection is executed with high-quality standards and efficient turnaround
Relentlessly maintain high-quality standards on sourcing our products, and provide feedback as necessary to the leadership team
Qualifications
Qualifications
3
years of experience in a sourcing role, preferably in the crafting, sewing, or notions industry
Depth of technical understanding of raw materials and sewing products/notions
Consumer-centric and data-driven in your approach
Strong organizational and project management skills
Exceptional negotiation skills
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for creating and a love of sewing products and notions
Able and comfortable multitasking and wearing many hats in a fast-paced environment
Positive, energetic attitude
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of ARL Inc.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
