Technical Sales Representative

Job Description
The Technical Sales Representative must be a self-motivated person, responsible for selling our full line of micro welding products. This will include inbound and outbound sales calls, email communication, and occasional travel to work at tradeshows. Job duties include:
answering technical questions about how the products work, following-up with leads from initial contact through the point of sale, and building/nurturing relationships with distributors throughout the world. Responsibilities
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients for both product lines Sunstone Engineering Welders and Orion Welders
Ability to communicate technical products to a variety of industries, this will require a high functional knowledge of industry terms, limitations, and opportunities
Manage sales leads and execute follow-up to achieve sales goals
Meet with Distributors and their customer base to increase sales globally
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and other events
Qualifications
Bachelor degree preferred
Sales experience a plus
Strong reading, writing/typing (at least 40 wpm), and arithmetic skills required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (on phone and in person).
Telemarketing experience a plus.
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
Work requires occasional travel to trade shows that will be out of state and country. Requires flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
