Position Description:
Novetta is seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to work on Linux based systems, while deploying and training war-fighters.
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for integrating multiple data sets into a web based, real time data archiving and video exploitation running on Linux platforms.
- Integrate data sets into Ops and C2 Planning applications to include streaming Cursor-On-Target and Full Motion Video data
- Work in an agile development environment and support operational requirements
- Train warfighters on the use of applications and systems
- Meet operational requirements.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Experience maintaining a LINUX server environment to support an integrated web based archiving and search platform, Google Earth Enterprise and a Full Motion Video data management system
- Proven experience working in a Linux environment
- Excellent customer service experience
Desired Skills:
- Interact and collaborate with warfighters on a 12 hour, 6 day a week basis
- Collect customer requirements and train users
- Programming and/or software development experience
- BS in Computer Science (or equivalant experience)
Security Clearance:
- An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
