Production Operator 1st Shift

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

  • Operate multi-function process control machinery through control panels, computer terminals or other control systems, mix, blend or otherwise process food products.



  • Observe gauges, visual monitoring to verify specified processing conditions and make adjustments to process variables such as ingredient inputs, and temperature settings.



  • Maintain shift log of production and other data (breaks/attendance).



  • Set up Production Equipment and start conveyers before Production resumes for the week.



  • Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards and perform corrective machine adjustments as necessary.



  • Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products produced.

  • Listen for malfunction alarms, and shut down equipment and notify supervisors and call maintenance when necessary.

  • Collect and examine product samples during production in order to test them for quality, color, content, consistency.

  • Observe gauges, dials, and product characteristics, and adjust controls in order to maintain appropriate temperature, pressure, and flow of ingredients

  • Read production schedules, recipes, or formulas in order to determine cooking times and temperatures, and ingredient specifications.

  • Make sure equipment is clean, washed, and sterilized before using in the production area.

  • Help maintain work area clean, following SOP's and GMP's.

  • Set ups machines and changes set ups as required

  • Makes adjustments to the machines as necessary

  • Observes operation to detect malfunctions of the machine

  • Performs trouble shooting and minor repairs

  • Communicates with Maintenance regarding mechanical problems and repairs

  • Checks product specification to ensure correct raw materials are being used and coding is correct

  • Continually inspects products to ensure that they are within specification and of high quality i.e. proper and accurate lot numbers, monitors and adjust weight control.

  • Must work safely at all times and comply with all safety policies and procedures

  • Comply with policies and procedure

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
