Medical Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a happy, high energy, full time Medical Assistant to work alongside our Physician at our growing Dermatology practice in Bountiful. Must possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, be a quick learner, be organized, have an attention to detail, be a self-starter and able to work independently. Must enjoy employing the full range of an MA's skills including hands-on patient care; equipment setup and ordering; doing blood draws, injections, gathering and entering patient information in EMR, and minor invasive procedures; patient callbacks and messaging, and administrative duties including answering phones, greeting patients, making appointments, making photocopies, typing letters or documents, taking co-pays and scanning medical records, along with other various duties as assigned.
Competitive wage per experience.
Qualifications
Current Medical Assistant Certification.
Previous experience in a medical office is highly recommended, dermatology experience a plus.
1-2 Years experience preferred.
Must be responsible, great with people, detail-oriented, good at multi-tasking, and have a positive attitude.
Position and Hours
Position is part-time variable hours. Some early mornings and later afternoons will be required.
