Mountain West Gymnastics Academy is the newest full-service gymnastics gym located in Davis County. Our motto is We can do hard things! We believe in setting goals and helping athletes reach those goals through progression and hard work. We build leaders both with our athletes and our coaches.
We're looking for experienced, high-energy team and recreational coaches who love working with and teaching children. We are seeking coaches that focus on details and correct body positions while still promoting an atmosphere where children can grow, learn, and realize their goals.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding athlete's progression
- Communicate effectively with athletes on how to improve and make corrections
- Attend trainings and staff meetings on a weekly basis
- Attend off-site clinics and trainings
- Lead classes with fun and excitement
- Help athletes to realize that they can accomplish hard things
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge or experience in gymnastics or cheer preferred but not required
- Dependable, reliable, and team player
- Willing to work a minimum of 8 hours per week, including some Saturdays
