Job Description
The Station Park Security Department is hiring for the following open positions:
FT Shift Sergeant (Friday Monday) $14.50-15 hourly DOE
The Sergeant fulfills the patrol needs of the center and is tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of the Security Department. Sergeants are also responsible for the training, discipline, and development of the staff under their command.
PT Grave Shift Officer (11pm-7am) $12.98 hourly
Security Officers patrol the center on foot and in the patrol vehicle. Grave Officers must remain in motion and alert throughout the night, completing inspections and clearing sensitive areas.

Military, Law Enforcement, or Customer Service experience is a plus, but not required. We will train candidates in Utah laws, patrol, enforcement, customer service, and provide State required licensing courses. Park Security Officer positions are available, Part-Time and Full-Time starting at $11.99.

Responsibilities
- Watch for irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations.
- Contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.
- Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront and detain violators, as required, until police arrive.
- Patrol assigned area on foot, on bicycle, or in motor vehicle, as assigned, to ensure personal, building, and equipment security
- Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure security; uses client keys to open and close buildings; monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities.
- Prepare routine, standardized reports.
- Provide escorts as necessary
- Inform and warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
- May provide specialized security in complex operational areas, requiring specific knowledge of the operating environment.
- Perform periodic checks of emergency call boxes and/or street lights to ensure proper functioning; reports all malfunctioning as required.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age Utah Licensing Requirement
- Must Hold or obtain Utah State Driver s License and provide documentation of driving record in compliance with company insurance requirements
- Must hold or obtain a Utah Security Officer License We will provide the training if necessary
- Must successfully complete background check and drug screening
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Demonstrate proper writing and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate proficiency with computers, software, and technology
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
- Ability to walk and climb stairs.
- Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditions.
- Ability to comprehend numerous policies, procedures, concepts and to be able to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on general and specific policies.
- Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to react appropriately in emergency situations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
