New Mortgage Loan Officer Sales at Geebo

New Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Description
This is an exciting industry where highly motivated individuals are successful and love going to work each day.
Did you know as of December, 2016 there are 24,745 Real Estate Agents in Utah and only 5,786 registered Mortgage Loan Originators? This is an industry that demands your expertise. Most mortgage companies don't have enough licensed individuals to handle the volume of business.
If you're interested in making a career change, you'll find that mortgage companies are not willing to consider you unless you hold an NMLS license.
To join the industry, there are a few steps to obtain a Mortgage Loan Originator License.
The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) established requirements for the licensing and/or registration of all Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs.) Below you will find the profession requirements needed to become a state-licensed mortgage loan officer.
Criminal Background Check Fingerprints will need to be submitted through NMLS for an FBI criminal background check.
Education Completion of pre-license education. (The 20-Hour SAFE Course)
Testing Required to pass National and State components of the SAFE MLO Test.
Credit Report Applicants will have a credit report run through NMLS.
We take you through all of the steps to getting your license. We offer the 20-Hour course and have mortgage companies who recruit from our classes.
