ASSISTANT TREASURER/ COLLECTOR Administrative, bookkeeping and clerical support primarily processing municipal employee payroll and benefits claims and collecting municipal tax and utility payments.
Applicant must have an Associate Degree with bookkeeping, accounting or related field courses preferred; and s/he must have two years of bookkeeping, payroll and or/benefit processing work experience.
Applicant must be familiar with Microsoft Office and be able to master specialized municipal software.
Regular 37.
5 hour 5 day workweek.
Salary range of $31,044 to $41,074 plus benefits.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
