Help Wanted:
The Willits News Reporter We're looking for a full time community journalist for The Willits News.
Applicant must have good communication skills and be able to work covering community events, local government and happenings in our eclectic community.
Ability to relate comfortably to a wide range of people, in person and on the phone and to develop sources and an audience is a must.
Good writing skills are important, reporting experience is desirable.
Will consider recent journalist or communications graduate.
Our ideal candidate will have newspaper writing experience at the collegiate and/or professional level, an inquisitive nature to ask insightful questions and a desire to provide our readers, whether on line or in the newspaper, with the best news stories.
This full time position provides significant flexibility in hours worked and includes health care, a 401K and other benefits.
Reporter must have reliable transportation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
