Well established construction company in Sugar Land is in need of a contract to possible hire Receptionist for their Sugar Land office.

The Accounts Payable Specialist Role:
Accounts Payable Specialist for General Contractor- Commercial Construction
Enter and process checks for subcontract pay apps & miscellaneous a/p & expense reports for 3 divisions.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will coordinate coding & approval and entering of Master Card and American Express statements monthly.
Process specific vendor payments through American Express weekly or as needed.
Maintain yearly legal expense spreadsheet with copies of invoices attached.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will maintain & process entries for quarterly suspense schedules.
Make journal entries as needed for job cost shifting.
Communicate with field personnel as needed regarding checks they require weekly.
May be trained later to enter budgets and process some payroll
The Background Profile:
Minimum 5 to 10 years of heavy accounts payable experience
Construction industry experience a plus
Organized and multi-tasking ability
Good analytical and communication skills
Live in or close to Sugar Land
High School diploma required; some college accounting classes preferred
